This week has been full of craziness not only in the United States but across the world. From Hurricane Harvey in Texas to attacks in Spain to rioting over racism here in the States (sending love & prayers to those affected by all),  I'm happy to report that my family and I have been home safe and enjoying peace within our own home!

These are the times that I am happy that we do not have cable because honestly it seems that theres nothing but negativity in this world anymore! It makes me sad because I can remember as a kid, even as a younger adult, the world wasn't so angry and that worries me as I'm about to bring an innocent soul into existence. Maybe I should consider this as a first parenting lesson? I just hope and pray that one day we can all relate back to the thought that we are all human beings and deserve to be treated as one with love and equality no matter the color of our skin, the religion we belong to, nor the gender we identify with. I mean lets be honest, no one is getting out of this life alive anyways. 💔

One a more positive note, this week has been a quiet one for the Morgan family. My next appointment isn't until the first week of September and I've decided to steal away a little zen vacation to California after that for a long weekend while I'm feeling halfway decent and still mobile.

How Far Along: 16 Weeks and 1 Day
Total Weight Gain: Still negative,  - 6 pounds.
Maternity Clothes: None, I've been living in yoga pants to be honest! 😋
Sleeping: Still sleeping all the time but feeling more productive.
Best Moment This Week: Spending time with my husband, family and friends! 💛
Movement: None that I'm definite of.
Food Cravings: Waffles and PB&Js.
Sickness or Health: Less nausea for sure, feeling more energy slowly coming back.
Mood: Still moody, trying to be less of a "mean girl".
Pregnancy Wisdom: Little Morgan has taste buds as of yesterday! 🍨🍩🍓
Weekly Milestone: Having that "holy cow, we're having a baby" moment with Jimmy! 💏

I have also gone on a little shopping spree this week for little girl! All great deals I promise! I've been holding out on buying so much stuff but it was really hard not to pass up on these cuties! ↓ Dillard's was running this amazing sale where they had an additional 30% off of their clearance items and I got these SUPER CUTE Toms for $13! How could I not?!

And an additional thank you to coupons, sales and sale gift cards, I managed to score two boxes of Honest Company and Pampers diapers from Target for a insane total of $40. I mean she's going to need diapers so.... 😊 Cash seems pretty stoked about them too, or maybe he wanted to eat them? I had read that some mom's started a stock pile of diapers and wipes and combining with what they received at their shower they didn't have to buy diapers or wipes until their baby was almost a year old! I'm totally into that idea, just saying!

Overall, I can say I had a fantastic week. I have to confess, I do miss going to school. I think I need to pick up a hobby because I'm finding out I have a little too much time on my hands. I'm trying to go to the gym and stay active as much as I can while not trying to lose any more weight. Sometimes I feel like she's starving in there. 😁 I can't believe in just a few weeks she'll be halfway done baking in there. I feel like February is going to come so quickly with the holidays approaching. It's so scary to think about yet so exciting! I hope that everyone has a positive and productive week. Until next time everyone!

  1. Another great post!
I'm so glad to hear you had a great week and that baby Morgan is doing and growing well.
I can definitely relate on missing school. I've been done for 8 months now and the job search sucks :/ and I miss being "productive". I have a few hobbies but just nothing has fulfilled my life the way school did. I hope you have better luck at fulfilling that time now that school is over. I'm sure baby will keep you plenty busy preparing for her though

    1. You always have the sweetest things to say Janet! <3 I hope everything is going well with you and hubby in Ohio! Say hello to the boys for me! :)
